“Working with the MUSYCA kids was such a terrific experience. The angelic voices they lent to our project [Oscar-nominated film JoJo Rabbit] really helped get it off its feet and soar. Can’t wait for the next time we can work with these talented young professionals again!"
“As Music Director of Symphony in the Glen I recently had the opportunity to work with the MUSYCA Choir and its fine director, Misha Shtangrud. The occasion was Symphony in the Glen’s annual “EEK! At The Greek” Halloween concert at the Greek Theatre, in Los Angeles.
For the Concert, the group performed John Williams’ “Double Trouble” and the premiere of own composition, “Things That Go Bump in the Night”.
“Things” is not an easy piece and provides challenges in melody and diction that would test the most accomplished of adult choirs. Yet the youngsters of MUSYCA met those challenges with a performance of musical excellence and enthusiasm.
I look forward to working with MUSYCA many times in future concerts.”
- Arthur B.Rubinstein
