Preparing the Arts and Entertainment Leaders of Tomorrow
As an arts organization for youth, MUSYCA plays a critical role in developing the next generation of artists and creative professionals. However, not all aspiring musicians and artists have equal access to these opportunities. MUSYCA is committed to addressing these inequities by offering Creative Leaders Academy training programs in music and other creative fields.
Our training programs are designed specifically for youth and emerging professionals who have historically experienced barriers to accessing careers in the arts and creative sector. The program provides the participants with the necessary skills through hands-on training and practical experience in a variety of areas, including performance techniques, recording practicum, musicianship, choral conducting, organizational leadership, industry knowledge, and professional development.
The focus of MUSYCA Creative Leaders Academy is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where participants can grow their skills and build their confidence. Mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals in the industry is an important component of the program, providing participants with a diverse slate of role models, valuable connections, and opportunities to network.
