MUSYCA Children's Choir helps to "Save a Child's Heart" in Valley Performance Arts

MUSYCA Children's Choir sang at the charity concert benefiting the Save A Child's Heart (SACH) organization, which provides "urgently needed pediatric heart surgery and follow-up care for indigent children from developing countries." The concert took place at San Fernando Valley Performing Arts Center, located on the campus of California State University, Northridge.

The choir performed Jim Papoulis' "Give Us Hope" with Dr. Anna Krendel at the piano, accompanied by the Los Angeles Jewish Symphony. The kids loved singing "Ray of Hope" with Liel Kolet, arranged for orchestra and children's choir by Sharon Farber. Singers also collaborated with singers Melissa Manchester and Rita. The performance finished with the wonderful rendition of John Lennon's "Imagine" with all cast members joining in singing.

We're over the moon having sung for the legendary astronaut Dr. Buzz Aldrin, who was in the audience in support of this amazing children's charity.
