MUSYCA, a Los Angeles-based Children's Choir, is holding auditions for the 2023-2024 school year. Boys and girls, ages 7-18, who love music and singing are encouraged to audition.
Younger singers, ages 3 to 6, don't need to audition and are welcome to join our early childhood music classes: SuperSingers or KinderChoir. To request the registration information, please reach out to us via email at sing@musyca.org or give us a call at 818-554-9937.

For our adult choir alumni and community members (ages 18+), this is your time to shine! We welcome you to audition for MUSYCA Chamber Singers or MUSYCA Community Chorale.
At this time, all auditions are being held online via video submissions.
MUSYCA offers a mix of exceptional vocal ensembles, tailored for different age groups:
SuperSingers (ages 3-4) – no audition required
KinderChoir (ages 5-7) – no audition required
Junior Chorus (ages 7-10)
Melody Choir (ages 10-14)
Harmony Ensemble (ages 13-18)
Young Men's Chorus (ages 13-21)
Chamber Singers (ages 16-25)
Community Chorale (adults, 18+)
MUSYCA choir audition is an opportunity to be heard by our faculty and assessed for placement into one of our vocal ensembles.
What to sing for the audition?
We recommend singing a familiar song, such as "Happy Birthday," performed from memory, a cappella.
Advanced singers may prepare a folk song, art song, musical theatre piece, or an aria.
There is no minimum time requirement for a song. Usually, one verse and a chorus are enough.
Choose a piece that your child loves to sing, has been singing for a while, and knows well.
