
MUSYCA (Musical Youth of California) Choir, a renowned children's choir based in Los Angeles, is featured on a latest track by Snoop Dogg – a cultural icon and music legend, celebrated for his groundbreaking contributions to hip-hop and popular culture.
MUSYCA singers worked on the record in collaboration with the legendary producer and rapper, Dr. Dre at his recording studio, Record One, which has been home to some of the biggest names and hits in music history. Dr. Dre worked closely with the young singers during the recording session, to ensure they delivered the best performance possible. He spoke highly of the MUSYCA singers, noting that they brought fresh and unique energy to his music. Dr. Dre gave high praise for their performance, citing the talent and professionalism of the MUSYCA singers during the recording session.
MUSYCA students also received great feedback and inspiration from the renowned music producers Fredwreck and Focus…, who worked with them during the recording session.
Snoop Dogg recently shared the photo of MUSYCA Choir with Dr. Dre with his 89 million followers, and wrote "Thank.U kids 👀👏🏿👏🏿🩺❗️🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤 hard knocks" referring to the name of the track, "Hard Knocks".
The collaboration has been coordinated by MUSYCA's executive director, Dr. Anna Krendel, who created an environment in which the young singers could thrive and showcase their talents alongside music industry icons. Dr. Mikhail Shtangrud, MUSYCA's artistic director and conductor, led the singers during the recording session.

MUSYCA singers have entertained audiences worldwide for over a decade with their performances and recordings in various styles, from classical to contemporary pop. The choir's collaborations have been nominated for Grammy awards in several categories, including Album of the Year. MUSYCA singers have performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall and Notre Dame de Paris, appeared on Television shows like NBC's The Voice and Warner Brothers' "The Jennifer Hudson Show," and have been featured in films like Luc Besson's "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" and Joel Edgerton's "Boy Erased."
